Moisture is what does the damage in a safe. This 200 gram silica gel sachet draws humidity out of the air so your bullion, coins, documents and valuables sit in dry conditions.
Silver tarnishes faster in damp air. Copper spots and patinas. Paper certificates cockle and stain. Silica gel will not stop those reactions entirely, but it removes the humidity that accelerates them.
One sachet protects up to 200 litres of enclosed space, which is 0.2 cubic metres. Most home safes sit well under that. Larger gun safes and commercial units run 200 litres and up, so use two or more.
Non-toxic. No odour. Nothing to spill. It sits in the corner of the safe and works on its own.

How to use
- Place the sachet on the base or a shelf inside your safe.

- Replace every three to six months, sooner in coastal or damp conditions.
- For spaces over 200 litres, add a second sachet.
Replace, do not recharge
Some silica gel can be dried in an oven and used again. This sachet is not made for that. Once it has taken up its capacity of moisture, take it out and put a fresh one in.
One thing to know
Silica gel manages humidity. It does not remove the sulphur compounds in air that cause silver to tarnish. For long term storage, use it alongside airtight capsules or sealed sleeves.
